Summer is finally here, and our vines are thriving in the warm weather! It’s been a busy few months at Baxter Ridge. We’ve launched our newly rebuilt website https://baxterridge.com/, bottled the first of our 2022 releases, and are already hard at work in the vineyard, planning for the 2025 harvest.
We’re also proud to share that our wines continue to receive recognition; Baxter Ridge earned a Gold Medal at the San Francisco International Wine Competition. Winning in San Fran is like taking home gold at the Olympics for winemakers, which means a great deal to us. But, since we’re only as good as our last vintage – it’s time to get back to work….

We’re excited to introduce the 2022 La Mistura, this wine continues our signature style of blending Sangiovese and Cabernet, with Malbec and Merlot adding a deep layer of dark fruit, and a long lingering finish with tannins of silk. Coming soon: 2022 Cinque Elementi – taking the signature La Mistura and pushing things in the new world wine style we’ve added specially sourced Syrah from Los Olivos. Like adding a dash of peperoncino to your aglio and olio pasta; the classic deep flavors and finish with hints of spice, black pepper, cloves, and faint smoke. This wine offers complexity and an exception mid-palette and finish. This wine will be released in late July
